Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between willie maykit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Hoffmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Hoffmann has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with willie maykit's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, willie maykit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Hoffmann! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! maykit tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hoffmann swivels and escapes. Hoffmann throws a sloppy head kick and maykit moves out of range easily. Hoffmann wants to clinch. maykit bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. maykit is staying tight to Hoffmann's torso, preventing him from escaping. Hoffmann is looking to regain half guard here but maykit keeps moving and retains side control. Hoffmann gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Hoffmann is looking to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. maykit looking to control and managing it successfully. maykit looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Hoffmann is desperately trying to improve his position but maykit has a good base and remains in mount. Hoffmann slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. maykit is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Hoffmann has managed to free his arm - good work. Hoffmann actively working from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hoffmann looking for submissions off his back. Hoffmann is in trouble now - maykit has advanced to mount! maykit looking to control and managing it successfully. maykit working for a guillotine from mount but Hoffmann is in no mood to give up. maykit is breathing heavily. Hoffmann tries to reverse the position but maykit maintains control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. maykit moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Hoffmann has worked his arm free - good work by Hoffmann!
maykit wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hoffmann keeps working. Hoffmann is trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hoffmann throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
maykit blocks the strikes from Hoffmann.
Hoffmann tries to buck maykit off but maykit is having none of it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. maykit scores with a jab. Hoffmann acknowledges it with a nod of the head. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hoffmann swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
maykit shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hoffmann as he jumps to the side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
willie maykit dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
maykit feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hoffmann had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. maykit is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hoffmann Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take maykit's back instead. Hoffmann is trying to stick to maykit's back but maykit is turning into Hoffmann. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hoffmann's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by maykit. maykit is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hoffmann looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! maykit has picked Hoffmann up and slammed him! Hoffmann can't keep hold of the triangle and maykit manages to pass to side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hoffmann is looking to regain half guard here but maykit keeps moving and retains side control. The referee asks maykit politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. maykit prefers to stall for the moment though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoffmann misses with an elbow from the bottom. Hoffmann is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on maykit's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for maykit! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Hoffmann has tapped! This one is allllll over!
