Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Twee Keer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Richard Pryor!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pryor cracks Keer with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Pryor fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Keer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pryor bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Keer's head.
Keer walks into a straight right hand from Pryor.
Pryor takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Pryor lands a jab to Keer's midsection.
Pryor dodges the punch combination from Keer.
Keer throws a head kick but Pryor moves out of range.
Pryor throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Keer stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pryor dips to his left and cracks Keer with an uppercut!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Keer walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Keer seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Richard Pryor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Keer tries to close the distance and clinch but Pryor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Pryor lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Pryor lunges at Keer with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Keer's hand.

Pryor connects with a body shot that sends Keer's belly button to the back.
Pryor digs a good body shot into Keer's ribs.

Pryor is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Keer had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pryor fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Keer looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Keer has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pryor finds it's way round the side to connect with Keer's head.

Pryor connects with a good right hand that stumbles Keer. Keer circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Pryor clobbers Keer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A nice side step and Pryor releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Keer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pryor sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Pryor looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Keer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Pryor scores with a sloppy right hand. Keer should have avoided that one.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Keer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pryor scores with a sloppy right hand. Keer should have avoided that one.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Keer. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Keer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pryor connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Keer scrambles back to his feet.

It seemed like Pryor was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Richard Pryor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Keer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Keer is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Pryor bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Keer's head.
Pryor's jab looks to have found its range, popping Keer under the eye.
Keer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pryor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Keer somewhat.

Pryor's jab looks to have found its range, popping Keer under the eye.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Keer drives through with a takedown into Pryor's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Pryor is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Keer is aware though and is defending well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pryor has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Pryor looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pryor is on top in guard.

Keer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Twee Keer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pryor throws a strike but Keer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Pryor avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Pryor looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Pryor is continuing to stall.

Keer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pryor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Keer has managed to get both his arms back between Pryor's legs - danger averted.

Keer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Keer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Pryor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Keer working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Pryor had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Keer defends it easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Keer throws a sloppy head kick and Pryor moves out of range easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pryor! But no joy.

Pryor scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Pryor lands a shoulder strike.

Keer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Pryor throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Keer on the side of the head.
