5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Byung Soo Choi! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Botashev shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Botashev was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Choi looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Botashev landing strikes. Botashev lands a decent elbow from side control. Choi taking a bit of punishment here - Botashev scoring with strikes. Choi is working to avoid the ground and pound but Botashev connects with a decent elbow.
Choi is rocked! Botashev cracks Choi with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Botashev immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Choi is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Botashev!
