In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; John Sanchez! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Collins Pac!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.


Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?
Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pac swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pac has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Sanchez is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Pac goes for a double leg but Sanchez avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sanchez continues to drive forward.
Sanchez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pac.
Sanchez doesn't manage to clinch there - Pac circles away.

Pac closes the distance and clinches.
Pac wants a takedown but no success here.
John Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Collins Pac.
Pac wants to take the fight to the mat but Sanchez manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Pac pulls guard effortlessly.

Pac is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sanchez defends well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pac has his foot on Sanchez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sanchez works his way back into a safe position though.

Pac wants to sweep but no luck.
Sanchez wants to control from the top but Pac keeps moving.
Pac seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Pac looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Pac is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sanchez is aware though and is defending well.

Pac seems keen to control Sanchez's posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sanchez wants to control from the top but Pac keeps moving.

Pac is looking for a triangle but Sanchez pushes his legs off easily.

Pac is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Pac has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Sanchez should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Pac has tightened it up now! Sanchez should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
