Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Randy Drought (ranked 3509 p4p, 311 weight class) and Capt Sully (ranked 3085 p4p, 283 weight class). Drought kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pray For Me. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Drought! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Capt Sully! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sully bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sully shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Sully was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Sully working away. Drought sneaks out the side door and pushes Sully away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Drought gets tackled into the cage by Sully. Sully maintains the clinch. Sully blocking some punches.
Sully looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A battle for position here, against the cage. Drought breaks from the clinch.
Sully blocks a jab. Capt Sully seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sully uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Drought. Sully closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sully has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Sully closes the distance and pushes Drought back into the cage. A battle for position here, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sully drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Drought gets the underhooks and prevents it.
The referee is keeping an eye on Drought - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Drought manages to break the clinch.
Sully shoots in for a double leg but Drought sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Drought scores with a shot to the body.
Randy Drought is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sully tests Drought's chin there with a solid looking shot. Sully lands a glancing blow to the side of Drought's head. Drought ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sully moves away. Drought ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Sully throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Drought sees it coming and avoids it easily. Drought misses with a looping right. Sully shoots in and bounces Drought off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drought can't keep his opponent in guard - Sully advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. This has been an exciting period of action! Sully not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Sully not doing much here.
Drought blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sully. Drought looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sully looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Sully decides to return to a standing position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sully avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Drought misses the jab. Sully tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Drought paws at him with a jab and circles away. Drought gets tackled into the cage by Sully. Sully maintains the clinch. Sully breaks the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Drought. Sully does a little dance to reset his feet. Drought takes one to the side of the head.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Sully wants a takedown but no success here.
Randy Drought has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Capt Sully. Sully breaks the clinch.
Sully tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. A nice combination there by Sully.
Drought throws out a loose jab but Sully uses good head movement to avoid it. Drought swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sully darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sully is thwarting Drought's attempts to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sully moves nicely into side control. Sully tries to score with some ground and pound. Drought controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Sully has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. You can see the frustration on Drought's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Sloppy strikes there by Sully. Sully stands up and we're back to a striking position. Sully throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Drought tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sully is in Drought's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sully accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Capt Sully dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Sully connects with a leg kick. Drought looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Drought fails to land with a series of punches.
Sully is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Drought's half guard. Sully content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drought keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drought pushes Sully off looking to stand but Sully dives back in and keeps control.
Sully sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Drought defending well though. Drought is trying to stand up here but Sully is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sully thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Drought's head. Sully takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Sully decides to stand up. Sully shoots in for a takedown but Drought shows good takedown defense. The fighters circling - Drought throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Drought tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sully was well out of range. Poor timing from Drought. Sully on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Drought throws an off balance right hand
and Sully counters by moving into the clinch. Sully lands a good knee to the midsection. Drought won't want to take too many of those. Drought dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drought misses with a punch to the body.
Drought tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Sully's elbow. Sully missing with knees to the body.
Sully has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Drought after a bit of a struggle. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Sully. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Sully jumps guard and drags Drought to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Drought wants to stand and escape but instead Sully has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Sully cracks Drought with a solid left hand. Sully is looking to work some ground and pound but Drought has wrist control. Sully with a flurry of punches that miss. Sully throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Drought works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Drought utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sully accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sully throwing strikes from guard but Drought blocks nicely. Drought wants to get back to his feet but Sully is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Sully keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Drought's head. Sully has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sully trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Sully gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Sully uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Drought. Randy Drought is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sully looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Drought! Sully decides to stand back up. Sully scoring well with a low kick there.
Drought throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sully misses with a low kick as Drought jumps back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sully keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sully is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Sully looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Capt Sully has got the better of the ground game so far. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sully trying to control the pace. Sully's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Sully has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Drought defend it? Sully steps over the head and cranks it - Drought is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Sully!
