Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leif Blankenship (ranked 24796 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dilhan Ramazanoglu (ranked 4687 p4p, 504 weight class). Ramazanoglu has chosen Abdulhamid Han as his entrance music. Leif Blankenship has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Leif Blankenship! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dilhan Ramazanoglu! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blankenship shoots in for a takedown but Ramazanoglu shows good takedown defense. Ramazanoglu tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Blankenship looks for a takedown but Ramazanoglu sprawls well. Blankenship shoots in for a takedown but Ramazanoglu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ramazanoglu changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leif Blankenship. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ramazanoglu stuffs the takedown attempt from Blankenship. Blankenship gets slowly back to his feet. And Ramazanoglu tries to counter it with a takedown but Blankenship pushes his down on his head and steps out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blankenship with a lazy takedown attempt and Ramazanoglu counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Ramazanoglu content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Blankenship dives in for a single leg takedown but Ramazanoglu sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Blankenship shoots and misses and Ramazanoglu counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Blankenship is breathing heavily. Ramazanoglu slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Blankenship is trying to escape the position but Ramazanoglu is controlling the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Ramazanoglu. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

He's persisting with it as Ramazanoglu sprawls well. Ramazanoglu wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Blankenship gets slowly back to his feet. Blankenship really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Blankenship doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ramazanoglu counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ramazanoglu.
And that's the end of the fight! Dilhan Ramazanoglu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ramazanoglu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
