And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stephen Halliday!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hartley throws a body punch but Halliday moves out of range.
Nice shot lands for Hartley.


It looks like Stephen Halliday has been cut.
Halliday tries a head kick but it misses.
Hartley throws a big counter combination but Halliday scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Halliday tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hartley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Halliday somewhat.
It looked like Hartley was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Halliday.
Halliday lands a slapping body shot.
Hartley digs a good hook to Halliday's body.
Halliday misses with a body punch
and Hartley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Crunch! Halliday slams his shin into Hartley's torso.
Stephen Halliday seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Halliday misses with a wild combination.
It looked like Hartley was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Halliday.
Halliday misses with a low kick.
Halliday goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Halliday falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hartley counters with a nice body shot.
Halliday throws a poor cross that misses
letting Hartley counter with a right hand.
Hartley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Halliday moves away.
Halliday tries to counter by closing the distance.
Halliday throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hartley takes a swing at Halliday's ribcage but misses.
Halliday tries to bum rush Hartley with a series of wild strikes but Hartley uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hartley stuns Halliday with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Halliday looks winded!
Halliday takes one to the chin there.

Hartley lands a big uppercut and Halliday crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Halliday looks OK. Hartley waves Halliday back to his feet!


That has opened up Stephen Halliday's cut even more.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hartley cracks Halliday with a left hook right on the temple and Halliday goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Hartley lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Halliday is OK!
