The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durnin tries to close the distance and clinch up but McLauhglin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Durnin wants to clinch but McLauhglin slips to the side

and McLauhglin counters with a series of strikes that sends Durnin to the canvas! McLauhglin follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
McLauhglin is looking to work some ground and pound but Durnin has wrist control.
McLauhglin throws an elbow that misses. Durnin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McLauhglin's guard. Nice move by Durnin!


McLauhglin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
McLauhglin looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Durnin puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
McLauhglin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
It looks like Durnin is going to stand back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
