Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joey Freshwater (ranked 7567 p4p, 590 weight class) and Jason Jay (ranked 24781 p4p, 594 weight class). Freshwater's entrance music is Nas - The World is Your's. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freshwater uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jay.
Jay looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jay closes the distance and pushes Freshwater back into the cage.
Jay manages to pull guard.
Freshwater pushing down on Jay's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Freshwater stalling.
Freshwater is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jay doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Freshwater.
Freshwater seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Freshwater is trying to control. Jay wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
