The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Collins is looking for a kimura here.
Collins is taking a breather. Ayala says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Collins looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Collins lands strikes from half guard.
Ayala is rocked!
It looks like Greg Ayala has been cut.
Collins is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ayala has managed to free his arm - good work.
Oh Ayala is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Collins is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ayala sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Collins lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Ayala quite badly. Ayala pulls Collins in close trying to recover. Collins postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Ayala on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Ayala doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
