The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villalobos with a lazy takedown attempt
and Barker counters with a shoot takedown. Villalobos fights it but they end up in guard.
Villalobos is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Barker is aware though and is defending well.
Barker is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Barker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Villalobos utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Villalobos has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Barker is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Villalobos.
Barker cracks Villalobos with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Villalobos is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Barker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Villalobos, who protects the arm well.
Villalobos tries to buck Barker off but Barker is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barker cracks Villalobos with a big right hand but Villalobos just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Villalobos manages to work his way to half guard, despite Barker's best efforts.
Barker working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Villalobos has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Barker should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Villalobos has tightened it up now! Barker should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
