The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dio drives through and clinches with Cobb against the cage.

Dio's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Cobb clinches up with Dio and pushes him back against the cage.

Dio pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Cobb lands a big uppercut and Dio crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Dio looks OK. Cobb waves Dio back to his feet!

Dio tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cobb was well out of range. Poor timing from Dio.

Cobb has closed the distance and engaged Dio in a clinch.
Dio seems to have recovered his senses.
Dio tries to circle away but Cobb has him pinned against the cage.
Dio drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cobb gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Dio wants to take the fight to the mat but Cobb manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Dio breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A slow jab from Cobb misses its intended target.
Dio misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cobb fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dio manages to avoid it.
Dio ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Dio shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cobb as he jumps to the side.
Tyson Cobb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Dio.
Dio takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Cobb connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Cobb cracks Dio with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Dio falls to his knees and Cobb doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
