The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marley attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Pettis ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Marley misses with a low kick.
Marley pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Marley misses the shot to the body.
Good work by Pettis as he checks the leg kick.
Pettis lands a jab to Marley's midsection.
Pettis buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Marley throws a head kick that misses.
Pettis works Marley's body with a nice hook.
Marley misses with a low kick.
Marley throws a head kick but Pettis moves out of range.
A low kick from Marley is predictable there
and Pettis counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Marley throws a front kick aimed at Pettis's knee but Pettis avoids it well.
Pettis bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Marley's head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pettis with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Pettis thows a body kick. Marley tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Pettis lands a big head kick that sends Marley tumbling to the mat! Pettis takes a step backwards and waves Marley back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Marley is rocked!

Pettis delivers a nice body kick.
Oh Marley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Marley is breathing heavily.
Pettis lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Marley crumples to the floor! Pettis milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Michael Pettis is the new middleweight champion!
Michael Pettis decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
