Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Boykin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boykin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 22's and man boobs. Boykin swinging wilding here.
Boykin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Donovan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Donovan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boykin as he avoids it easily.
Donovan shoots in and drives through. Boykin sprawls well.
Donovan looks gassed!
Boykin throws a hook but Donovan avoids it easily.
Boykin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Donovan. Donovan circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like David Donovan has been cut.
Boykin could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Donovan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Boykin is fending him off so far but Donovan persists. Nope, Boykin circles away and we're back to standing.
Christopher Boykin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Donovan.
