Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Hamtilon (ranked 4332 p4p, 450 weight class) and Daniel Pawlik (ranked 3294 p4p, 368 weight class). Daniel Pawlik will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Leonard Hamtilon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Pawlik! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hamtilon gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hamtilon breaks from the clinch.
Pawlik fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Pawlik tries to clinch but Hamtilon is having none of it. Hamtilon dives in and scores a takedown into Pawlik's guard. Hamtilon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pawlik's guard. Hamtilon is working for a kimura but Pawlik is defending it quite comfortably.
Pawlik looking for subs from the bottom but Hamtilon mounts him! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hamtilon is in the full mount, landing strikes. Pawlik really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pawlik manages to regain half guard. Good work. We've been hearing that Hamtilon has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Hamtilon looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Hamtilon looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hamtilon connects with a nice short shot to Pawlik's temple. Hamtilon wants to take a breather but Pawlik is having none of it. Hamtilon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pawlik on the ground. That's four minutes gone in the round. Hamtilon is looking to pass into half guard but Pawlik pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Pawlik is in guard. Pawlik wants to control from the top but Hamtilon keeps moving. Pawlik preventing the sweep. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pawlik wants to control from the top but Hamtilon keeps moving. Hamtilon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hamtilon tries to get out of the position. Pawlik thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hamtilon trying to strike off his back.

Leonard Hamtilon dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hamtilon throws a leg kick but Pawlik checks it. Hamtilon throws a head kick but Pawlik moves out of range.
Hamtilon moves into the clinch. Hamtilon blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Pawlik fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Hamtilon prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hamtilon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hamtilon drives through with a takedown into Pawlik's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Hamtilon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pawlik can do to turn this around? Hamtilon chips away with some ground and pound. Hamtilon wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Pawlik's closed guard. He's half up but Pawlik has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Pawlik pivots and extends the arm, Hamtilon falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Pawlik! Well done that man!
