Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Pearson (ranked 1314 p4p, 155 weight class) and Klay Dee (ranked 970 p4p, 109 weight class). Dee has chosen Tyler, The Creator - Who Dat Boy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pearson seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Dee misses with an uppercut. Pearson saw that one coming.
Dee has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Dee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pearson circles away quickly and effectively.

Pearson throws a half hearted mid kick.
Dee throws an overhand right that lands on Pearson's shoulder, as Pearson tries to avoid the shot.

Pearson throws a head kick but Dee moves out of range.
Dee looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Pearson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Dee manages to circle out of the way.

Pearson has Dee up against the cage in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Pearson.
Pearson misses with a punch to the body.
Pearson is pressed up against the cage. Dee has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pearson down to the mat. Pearson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Dee throws a hook but Pearson blocks it.
A decent looking cross lands there for Dee.
Pearson scores with a head kick. Dee tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Pearson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Dee looks to score with a jab to the body but Pearson is just out of range.
Pearson punishes Dee's body with a nice straight punch.
Dee sizes up Pearson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Dee looks to land a right hand but Pearson moved out of range.
Dee connects with a solid leg kick.
Pearson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Dee uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pearson.
Johnny Pearson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pearson misses with a straight left.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dee! But no joy.
Pearson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Pearson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dee has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pearson.
Dee lands the left hand.

Pearson is rocked!
Dee lands with a right and another and another! Pearson is in big trouble! Dee lands again and this time it's lights out for Pearson! A quality knockout there for Dee.
