The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bin Ladin's guard. Bin Ladin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Reed trying to control but Bin Ladin is working from the bottom. Bin Ladin is trying to control the position but Reed postures up. Reed tries to free his leg and advance position but Bin Ladin is retaining full guard. Bin Ladin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bin Ladin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Reed tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Bin Ladin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Reed. Reed throws and low kick but Bin Ladin moves out of range easily. Bin Ladin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Reed looks for a takedown but Bin Ladin sprawls well. Reed on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bin Ladin. Bin Ladin obviously looking to wear him down.
No luck for Reed with that takedown attempt. Bin Ladin stuffs the takedown. Omar Bin Ladin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Reed. Bin Ladin throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. This has been an exciting period of action! Bin Ladin pushes Reed away with a front kick. Reed takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Bin Ladin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Reed. That did some damage!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bin Ladin thuds his shin into the meat of Reed's side. Reed chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bin Ladin can pounce on him.

Bin Ladin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bin Ladin unloads a knee to the mid-section. Reed lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Bin Ladin breaks from the clinch.
Crunch! Bin Ladin slams his shin into Reed's torso. Bin Ladin scores with a kick to the body.
Bin Ladin feints and then cracks Reed's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Reed down. Reed misses with a hook. Bin Ladin ducked under it nicely. A slapping body kick lands there for Bin Ladin. Bin Ladin throws a nice outside leg kick. Bin Ladin throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Reed slips a jab and a cross from Bin Ladin.
Bin Ladin throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Reed. Omar Bin Ladin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bin Ladin throws a head kick that misses. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Reed.

Reed avoids a wild elbow strike from Bin Ladin. Reed has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bin Ladin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Reed goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bin Ladin prevents it.

Reed blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Reed drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bin Ladin gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Reed is trying to drag Bin Ladin to the mat but Bin Ladin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Bin Ladin tries to land knees in the clinch but Reed avoids the damage to the body. Reed tries to pull guard but Bin Ladin holds him up against the cage and eventually Reed drops back down to his feet.

Reed turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Bin Ladin sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Bin Ladin regains full guard. Nicely done. Bin Ladin is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bin Ladin looking to control.
Bin Ladin keeping moving, preventing Reed from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Omar Bin Ladin dominated that round. That's time! Bin Ladin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Reed tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bin Ladin swivels and escapes. Reed will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Omar Bin Ladin is winning the standup battle so far. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bin Ladin. Reed shrugs it off though. Bin Ladin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bin Ladin moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Reed misses with a takedown attempt - Bin Ladin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Omar Bin Ladin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Reed. A good leg kick by Bin Ladin. Bin Ladin scores with a kick to the body.
Omar Bin Ladin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reed takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bin Ladin lands a nice looking kick to the body. Reed takes a step back to recover. Reed looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Bin Ladin scores with a nice body kick.

Bin Ladin scores with a push kick. Reed shoots in for a double leg but Bin Ladin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Billy Reed is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bin Ladin throws a nice inside leg kick. Bin Ladin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Reed's sensitive parts. Bin Ladin connects with a high kick. Reed has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Bin Ladin. Good leg kick by Bin Ladin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bin Ladin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bin Ladin tries to land a sweep but no joy. Reed tries to free his leg and advance position but Bin Ladin is retaining full guard. Bin Ladin wants to hit a switch here but Reed passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bin Ladin there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reed looking to control but Bin Ladin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Reed is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bin Ladin has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Bin Ladin gets back to half guard. Reed wants to pass to mount but Bin Ladin is defending the position. Reed is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Omar Bin Ladin dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Reed shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bin Ladin as he jumps to the side. Bin Ladin throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Bin Ladin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Reed. Reed's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Reed shoots in but no luck this time. Omar Bin Ladin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Reed. Reed fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reed shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bin Ladin throws a hook to the side of Reed's head but Reed sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bin Ladin throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Reed looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bin Ladin throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Bin Ladin throws a nice outside leg kick. Nice cross by Bin Ladin. Reed throws a hook but Bin Ladin blocks it. Bin Ladin throws a sloppy head kick and Reed moves out of range easily. Reed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bin Ladin's waist but Bin Ladin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reed off to one side. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Reed crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bin Ladin - the referee stops the clock and Reed gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bin Ladin. Reed manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Reed feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reed stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bin Ladin swivels though and keeps the full guard. Reed drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reed jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed stands and throws Bin Ladin's legs to the side, diving into side control. Reed is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bin Ladin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Reed trying to control the action but Bin Ladin is working from the bottom. Bin Ladin is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Reed's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Bin Ladin is trying to maintain the position but Reed is very close to passing his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Reed wants to take a breather but Bin Ladin is having none of it. Bin Ladin is trying to get back to full guard. Bin Ladin actively working from the bottom here. Billy Reed has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bin Ladin wants to control the action here but instead Reed manages to pass to full mount! Omar Bin Ladin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bin Ladin tries to hold on but Reed postures up. Reed looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Reed is going olschool here, as he tries to force Bin Ladin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bin Ladin shrugs it off. Bin Ladin holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Reed tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
And that's the end of the fight! Omar Bin Ladin showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bin Ladin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
