Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Measles smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Buckingham looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Buckingham shoots in looking for a takedown. Measles tries to sprawl out of it but Buckingham keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Measles manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Measles leaves Buckingham with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Measles tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Buckingham manages to circle out of the way.
Measles tries to close the distance and clinch but Buckingham swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Buckingham feints the counter takedown.
Measles scores with the left hand. Buckingham knows he should have avoided that one.
Buckingham shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Measles defends it nicely.
Wyatt Measles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randel Buckingham.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Measles keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Measles connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Buckingham momentarily.
Buckingham shoots in and drives through. Measles sprawls well.

Measles moves into the clinch successfully.
Measles lands a body punch in the clinch.
Measles gets underhooks to prevent Buckingham's takedown attempt.
Buckingham is trying to drag Measles to the mat but Measles just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Measles creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Buckingham's defenses.
Measles lands an elbow inside that Buckingham shrugs off.

It looks like Randel Buckingham has been cut.
Buckingham is looking for a takedown.
Buckingham takes an elbow to the temple.

Buckingham is rocked!
Buckingham drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Buckingham drops down looking for an ankle pick but Measles pulls his leg out and moves away.
Buckingham looks winded!

Measles cracks Buckingham with an open hand slap.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Measles lands a damaging elbow.
Buckingham goes for a takedown in the clinch but Measles prevents it.
Measles lands an elbow just above Buckingham 's eye.
Buckingham is pressed against the cage. Measles pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Buckingham! Two more big strikes from Measles and Buckingham crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
