Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Daiyan Valdes (ranked 3157 p4p, 178 weight class) and Winston Cooper (ranked 4318 p4p, 358 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Valdes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to a lo cubano. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Daiyan Valdes! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Winston Cooper! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Cooper rushes Valdes and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Valdes gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Valdes (2) vs (0) Cooper We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Valdes trying to pass the guard but Cooper defending well. Valdes is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cooper doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Valdes. Cooper is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Valdes wants to free his trapped foot but Cooper is holding on for dear life with his legs. Valdes is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cooper trying to control but Valdes postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Cooper looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Cooper wants to control but Valdes is keeping busy.
Valdes trying to advance position but Cooper counters by regaining guard. Valdes has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Cooper to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Valdes is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Cooper pulls down on the head and he's put Valdes to sleep! This one is all over!
