The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Jones 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A telegraphed right hand from Jones misses the target.
Prince scores with a body shot.
Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Prince was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones .
Jones swings away with a body shot that misses
and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jones looks to land a right hand but Prince moved out of range.
Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Prince looks like he wants to counter punch here.
A left lands for Jones .
Jones lands a nice hook to Prince's body. Prince takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Prince throws an overhand right that lands on Jones 's shoulder, as Jones tries to avoid the shot.
Jones throws a shot from downtown. Prince moves away and avoids it.
Prince is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Jones with a body shot.
Jones throws an off balance right hand
and Prince counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones slips a jab and a cross from Prince.
A little feinted left hand from Jones on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Prince tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Prince bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
It seemed like Prince was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Prince lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jones is rocked!
Prince fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Prince lands a nice shot that snaps Jones 's head back.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jones seems to have got his legs back now.

Prince is pawing at Jones , trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Jones 's nose. Jones is badly hurt! Prince pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Jones tries desperately to hold on but Prince is relentless in his assault! As Jones receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Prince away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Insane Prince!

Our winner, Insane Prince, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
