Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elvin Lukovic (ranked 4600 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Aureli (ranked 5099 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elvin Lukovic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Aureli! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aureli is looking to clinch but Lukovic is avoiding it.
Lukovic throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Aureli was covering up waiting for the punch and Lukovic finishes the takedown easily into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Aureli wants to improve his position but instead Lukovic has moved into half guard.
Lukovic is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lukovic prevents Aureli from improving his position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aureli pushes Lukovic off looking to stand but Lukovic dives back in and keeps control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lukovic trying to pass the guard but Aureli defending well. Lukovic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Aureli keeps working. Lukovic performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Lukovic is working for a kimura but Aureli is defending it quite comfortably.
Aureli really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lukovic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Aureli pushes Lukovic off looking to stand but Lukovic dives back in and keeps control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Aureli is trying to maintain the position but Lukovic is very close to passing his half guard. Aureli taking some punishment here, with Lukovic in his half guard. Lukovic thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Lukovic wants to free his trapped foot but Aureli is holding on for dear life with his legs. Lukovic perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Lukovic trying to pass the guard but Aureli defending well. Aureli trying to control but Lukovic postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Aureli tries to roll over but Lukovic keeps him under control. Lukovic is looking to take a break and control but Aureli is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Aureli tries to roll over but Lukovic keeps him under control. Aureli won't allow Lukovic to pass to mount. Lukovic decides to stand up. Aureli tries to clinch but Lukovic is having none of it. Aureli is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lukovic sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Lukovic throws a big counter combination but Aureli scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Aureli throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lukovic gets the takedown into side control. Lukovic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Aureli keeps working. Lukovic moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Lukovic has hold of Aureli's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Aureli seems comfortable defending it but Lukovic has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Aureli is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Aureli is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Lukovic couldn't care less - he's delighted!
