The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernadesci shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jackson's guard.
Jackson working a defensive guard but Bernadesci manages to pass into side control anyway.
Jackson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bernadesci wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bernadesci on the ground.
Jackson wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Bernadesci seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Jackson is tapping! Wow, great finish!
