Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Jackson (ranked 4615 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Bleeder (ranked 5039 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Jackson !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brandon Bleeder!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson stuffs the takedown attempt from Bleeder. Bleeder gets slowly back to his feet.
Jackson doesn't manage to clinch there - Bleeder circles away.

Jackson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bleeder to the mat! Bleeder manages to get full guard.
Bleeder keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully.
Bleeder is pulling down on Jackson 's head. It's preventing any offense from Jackson , at least for the moment.

Bleeder is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bleeder swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Jackson closes the distance and clinches.
Jackson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bleeder blocks it with crossed arms.
Jackson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bleeder smiles and moves away.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bleeder but Bleeder pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Jackson . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bleeder throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.

and Bleeder holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bleeder keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jackson 's efforts to push away.
Bleeder fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bleeder has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jackson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Jackson tries to clinch but Bleeder is having none of it.
Bleeder throws a head kick that Jackson semi-blocks.

Bleeder tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Bleeder jumps guard but Jackson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Jackson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bleeder gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Jackson fails to pull guard.
Bleeder tries to pull guard but Jackson holds him up against the cage and eventually Bleeder drops back down to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Brandon Bleeder will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Bleeder takes one to the side of the head.

Jackson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Bleeder breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jackson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bleeder avoids it really well and circles away.
Bleeder steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Jackson .

Bleeder gets tackled into the cage by Jackson . Jackson maintains the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bleeder wants a takedown.

Bleeder bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jackson 's head backwards.

Bleeder is pressed up against the cage. Jackson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bleeder down to the mat. Bleeder avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jackson looks for a takedown but Bleeder sprawls well.

Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown but Bleeder manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jackson 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bleeder shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jackson defends it nicely.

Jackson has closed the distance and engaged Bleeder in a clinch.
Jackson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bleeder drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jackson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Bleeder breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bleeder changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Bleeder manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bleeder works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Bleeder dives in for a single leg takedown but Jackson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
No luck for Jackson with that takedown attempt.

Bleeder is looking to take this one to the mat.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bleeder pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jackson lands with a good body shot.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jason Jackson will probably get the nod.

Bleeder feints a jab promting Jackson to slip. Bleeder then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jackson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Bleeder fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Despite the aggression on Bleeder's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Jackson dives in and grabs Bleeder's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bleeder pushes down on Jackson 's head and hops out.
Jackson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bleeder circles away.
Jackson slaps away a takedown attempt from Bleeder, before circling back to the center of the mat.
