Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Adamson leaves O Rourke with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. O Rourke has his takedown stuffed and Adamson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Adamson. O Rourke is looking to take this one to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Donald O Rourke. That's going to take a lot out of him. Adamson tightens his grip and picks O Rourke up, before dumping him to the ground. O Rourke seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adamson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Adamson tries to free his leg and advance position but O Rourke is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adamson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. O Rourke is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Adamson looking to pass the guard. Adamson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. O Rourke has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Adamson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, O Rourke has tightened it up now! Adamson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
