The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clayton stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Clayton wants it to stay on the feet.
Clayton lands a two punch combo.
Pusilla goes for a double leg but Clayton avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Clayton continues to drive forward.
Pusilla shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Clayton sprawls well. Clayton wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pusilla gets slowly back to his feet.
Brit Clayton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sampasa Pusilla.

Clayton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pusilla looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
A lull in the action here as Clayton stalls from top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Clayton decides to stand back up. Clayton steps back and let's Pusilla get back to his feet.

Pusilla shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clayton as he jumps to the side.

Pusilla is working an open guard so Clayton takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Clayton rushes Pusilla and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Clayton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Clayton moves into range and clinches up with Pusilla.

Clayton has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Pusilla clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
