Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Datu Bahktayn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cattag Dogmock!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Bahktayn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A nice side step and Dogmock releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Dogmock tries to close the distance and clinch but Bahktayn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dogmock fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bahktayn, pushing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bahktayn takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Bahktayn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dogmock as he jumps to the side.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bahktayn lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bahktayn is taking a breather. Dogmock says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Dogmock tries to kick Bahktayn off but Bahktayn keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dogmock takes a swing at Bahktayn's ribcage but misses.
Bahktayn is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Bahktayn looks for a takedown but Dogmock sprawls well.
A nice side step and Dogmock releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Dogmock stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dogmock wants it to stay on the feet.

Dogmock breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Cattag Dogmock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Bahktayn has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Bahktayn fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dogmock avoids it really well and circles away.
Dogmock let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Bahktayn wants to get back to his feet but Dogmock is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Dogmock fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bahktayn quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Datu Bahktayn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Cattag Dogmock is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Cattag Dogmock.
I've got Dogmock winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
