Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fin Shark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Veiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shark's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dan Sebenarnya. Veiga has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Veiga escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shark gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Veiga is looking to get back to full guard here but Shark has managed to pass to side control instead.

Shark lands a big shot there that rocks Veiga but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Shark tries to close the distance and clinch but Veiga swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Shark shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Shark is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Veiga is just riding it out for now. Shark eventually gives up the hold.

Well, if Shark is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Shark drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Veiga pushes Shark away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Shark gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Shark is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Veiga will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Shark swings around for an armbar but Veiga sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Shark's guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Shark looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
