Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Killer Bee (ranked 4715 p4p, 168 weight class) and Lardo Humpinator (ranked 2551 p4p, 102 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Killer Bee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lardo Humpinator!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Humpinator misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Humpinator shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bee sprawls well. Bee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Humpinator gets slowly back to his feet.
Humpinator tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bee defends well and Humpinator ends up having to push Bee into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Killer Bee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lardo Humpinator.

Humpinator closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bee did well to prevent Humpinator getting side control.
Bee has his hands clasped together around Humpinator's back. He's all about the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Humpinator is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bee defends it well.
Humpinator has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Island Hammers Fight Camp. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Humpinator is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bee is just riding it out for now. Humpinator eventually gives up the hold.

Bee is refusing to be controlled, as Humpinator sits in half guard.
Bee makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bee.
Humpinator's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Bee keeping moving, preventing Humpinator from controlling successfully.
Bee is trying to keep Humpinator in close.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Humpinator trying to control the position from guard on top but Bee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Bee has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Humpinator shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Bee preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lardo Humpinator dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Bee closes the distance and clinches up with Humpinator, looking for a takedown. Bee pushes Humpinator against the cage but Humpinator circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Humpinator decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lardo Humpinator has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bee tries to roll over but Humpinator keeps him under control.
Humpinator perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Humpinator seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bee does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bee wants to improve his position but Humpinator is controlling well.
Humpinator content to control rather than advance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Humpinator is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Humpinator wants to control but Bee is keeping him busy.
Humpinator has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bee wants to get back to full guard.
Bee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Humpinator is working away from the top position though.

Humpinator is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bee sees it coming and defends easily.

Bee is trying to stand up here but Humpinator is controlling him well.
Humpinator keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bee is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Humpinator's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Humpinator's back!

Bee is trying to control but Humpinator is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Bee tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Humpinator is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Bee throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Bee lands a big shot there that rocks Humpinator but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bee sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Bee avoids the attempt from Humpinator to control.
Humpinator regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Killer Bee dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Bee has a takedown stuffed.

Bee shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bee was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

You can see the frustration on Humpinator's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bee remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Humpinator is trying to control Bee's posture but Bee avoids it.

Humpinator gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Bee missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Humpinator has his hands clasped together around Bee's back. He's all about the action.
Humpinator keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Bee is thwarting Humpinator's attempts to control the position.
Humpinator is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bee scores with a couple of nice shots.
Bee stalling away here and it's allowed Humpinator to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Bee throws a strike but Humpinator rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Humpinator is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Killer Bee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Bee wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Killer Bee showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Bee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
