CACC 50 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Maxim Bok (ranked 1452 p4p, 163 weight class) and David Allan Coe (ranked 2216 p4p, 218 weight class). Bok comes to the ring accompanied by Give It Revolution. Coe has chosen Nothing To Lose as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Maxim Bok is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 16 wins and 10 losses; Maxim Bok! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 4 losses; David Allan Coe!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Bok bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Bok wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Coe, who protects the arm well.
Coe is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Bok tries to advance to mount but Coe denies him.
You can see the frustration on Coe's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Coe gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bok is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Coe has managed to free his arm - good work.

Bok wants to advance to full mount but Coe doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Coe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
