Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Costel Rusu (ranked 4100 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jatinder Singh (ranked 25104 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rusu is defended easily by Singh.
Singh shoots in looking for a takedown but Rusu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Singh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Singh misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
As Singh tries to get set, Rusu tries to push him back and clinch up but Singh manages to avoid the attempt.
Singh gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Singh is looking to stand up but Rusu isn't so interested in that idea.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As Rusu backs off Singh throws a huge counter combo but Rusu manages to avoid it all.
