The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Donev as he checks the leg kick.
Wells clinches up against the cage.
Donev is trying to drag Wells to the mat but Wells just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Wells drags the fight down to the ground.

Wells throws his legs up looking for a submission but Donev uses it to pass to side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Donev tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Donev has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wells is trying to get back to half guard.

Donev wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wells keeps working.
Wells tries to bench press Donev off him but Donev keeps the position.
Wells trying his best to control but Donev has mounted him.
Wells tries to hold on but Donev pushes him away.
Wells is trying to control the position here but Donev swings around for an armbar and he's got it! This one is all over, courtesy of a slick submission by Donev!
