Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vo Minh throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hyes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Vo Minh.
Vo Minh fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hyes sprawls well initially but Vo Minh persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hyes is looking for a sweep. Vo Minh is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Vo Minh is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Hyes looks like he's trying to stand up.
Hyes won't allow Vo Minh to pass to mount.
Vo Minh postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Hyes to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hyes fails with a takedown attempt.
Hyes tries to clinch there but Vo Minh circles away.
Vo Minh bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Vo Minh lands a big head kick that sends Hyes tumbling to the mat! Vo Minh takes a step backwards and waves Hyes back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hyes is rocked!
Hyes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hyes throws a combination that misses
and Vo Minh moves into the clinch.
Oh Hyes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vo Minh manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Vo Minh is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hyes seems to have got his legs back now.
Hyes is trying to control but can't.
Vo Minh moves nicely into side control.
Vo Minh is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Vo Minh passes into side control, despite Hyes's attempt to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hyes sneaks back into half guard.
Vo Minh is controlling the pace.
Hyes wants to improve his position but Vo Minh is controlling well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hyes is looking to control Vo Minh's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hyes avoid being mounted?

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Vo Minh lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Hyes wants to control but Vo Minh is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Hyes throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Vo Minh lands with a punch from half guard.
Hyes is pressing down on Vo Minh's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Vo Minh is working Hyes over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hyes misses with a takedown attempt - Vo Minh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A slapping body kick lands there for Hyes.

and Vo Minh counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Martin Hyes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vo Minh shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vo Minh showed some decent athleticism there.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Vo Minh takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Vo Minh has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Vo Minh lands a big elbow - Hyes is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Vo Minh!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kiet Vo Minh!
Kiet Vo Minh got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
