Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Gustafson (ranked 2649 p4p, 268 weight class) and Kyle Goose (ranked 2083 p4p, 213 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Gustafson.
Gustafson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gustafson takes a swing at Goose 's ribcage but misses.
Goose is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gustafson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Gustafson.
Goose bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Gustafson tries to clinch there but Goose circles away.
Gustafson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Goose manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Gustafson shoots in looking for a takedown. Goose tries to sprawl out of it but Gustafson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Goose manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Goose counters with a nice right hand that sends Gustafson toppling to the canvas! Gustafson scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Goose finish him?!
It looks like Alexander Gustafson has been cut.
Gustafson misses with a shot to the body
and Goose counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
