Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jungle Simba (ranked 2013 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Davis (ranked 2223 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom Davis will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tom Davis! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Davis fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Nice body punch from Davis. A looping hook to the body misses from Davis. Simba does a little dance to reset his feet. Simba has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Simba there as he acknowledges the shot. Davis closes the distance and pushes Simba back into the cage. Davis lands a body shot. Davis lands a hook that snaps the head of Simba backwards. A nice left hand lands by Davis.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Davis goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Davis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Davis creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A quick uppercut on the inside from Davis. A short uppercut from Davis. A nice left hand lands by Davis.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis works on Simba's body with a couple of short punches. Davis lands a shoulder strike. Simba drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Davis gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Simba tries to score a body lock takedown but Davis shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Davis gets through Simba's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Davis lands a hook that snaps the head of Simba backwards. Davis scores with a nice hook to the head. Davis lands with a left to the head. Davis working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Davis pushes Simba back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Still in the clinch, Davis scores with a nice short uppercut.

Simba has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Davis after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jungle Simba. That's going to take a lot out of him. A short uppercut from Davis. Davis lands a hook that snaps the head of Simba backwards. Davis lands a body punch. Davis manages to break the clinch.
Tom Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Davis cracks Simba with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Simba looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Davis finish him?
Simba is rocked! Davis cracks Simba with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Simba tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Davis pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Simba is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tom Davis! During a confident post fight interview, Tom Davis thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
