Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kylo Watne!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watne tries for a takedown but Bessant sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bessant cracks Watne with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A decent looking cross lands there for Bessant.
Bessant staying out of range there.
Watne will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bessant seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Watne misses with an uppercut
letting Bessant counter with a right hand.
Bessant listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Watne is rocked!
Watne misses with a lunging right hand
and Bessant counters with a nice right hand that sends Watne toppling to the canvas! Watne scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Bessant finish him?!
Watne is still on wobbly legs! Can Bessant finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bessant is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Watne flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Watne is out cold! Bessant holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Bessant!
