Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damen Mayer (ranked 1110 p4p, 136 weight class) and Tom Rivers (ranked 1591 p4p, 193 weight class). Rivers is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: start from scratch. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rivers feints a jab promting Mayer to slip. Rivers then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mayer slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Mayer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rivers tries to avoid it but Mayer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rivers to the ground. Rivers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mayer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rivers's guard.
