Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Mongol (ranked 24911 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dereck Tuker (ranked 3892 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Oleg Mongol!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dereck Tuker!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tuker manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mongol on his heels. He'll look to pass Mongol's guard now, I'm sure.
Mongol really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mongol wants to sweep here but Tuker controlling him for the moment.
Tuker trying to control but Mongol is working from the bottom.
Tuker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mongol swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mongol is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tuker is aware though and is defending well.
Tuker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mongol. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tuker throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Mongol will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mongol had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tuker defends it easily.

Mongol working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tuker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tuker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mongol has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Tuker is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mongol.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Tuker is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mongol is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tuker pulls his head out easily.

Tuker seems to be working for a kimura but Mongol defends the submission attempt.

Tuker is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Mongol!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mongol is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Mongol is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Tuker looking to control but Mongol is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Mongol shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tuker napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Tuker manages to work his way to half guard, despite Mongol's best efforts.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mongol wants to pass to mount but Tuker is defending the position.

Mongol is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tuker doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mongol.

Mongol has gone for a leg lock! Tuker slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mongol's guard.

Oleg Mongol overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
