Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veena avoids a punch combination nicely.
Veena works Crawford's body with a nice hook.
Crawford shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Crawford tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Veena manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Veena counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Crawford throws a lazy head kick
enabling Veena to counter with a crisp jab.
Crawford closes the distance looking to clinch
and Veena counters with a nice right hand that sends Crawford toppling to the canvas! Crawford scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Veena finish him?!
Crawford is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crawford wants to clinch but Veena slips to the side
and Veena makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Crawford is still on wobbly legs! Can Veena finish him?
Crawford misses with a takedown attempt
and Veena rattles Crawford with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Crawford tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Veena dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Crawford stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Elo Veena!
