Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pull Plugger (ranked 4782 p4p, 419 weight class) and Toinen Nuori (ranked 4519 p4p, 406 weight class). Toinen Nuori has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Toinen Nuori!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuori looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Plugger!
Nuori has control of an arm but Plugger manages to advance to Nuori's back!
Nuori defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Plugger's arms.
Nuori trying to control the action but Plugger just sinks the hooks in.

Plugger has the hooks in. Nuori is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Nuori is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Plugger gets his way!

Nuori is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Nuori drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Plugger dives on top into guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Nuori has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Plugger has passed into side control.

Plugger is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nuori is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nuori shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Plugger napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Nuori perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Plugger looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Nuori fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Plugger to the ground. Nuori is now in Plugger's guard.
Plugger is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Nuori dives into side control.

Nuori throwing strikes but Plugger manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Plugger postures up in Nuori's guard and throws a big left but Nuori blocks it.
Nuori not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Plugger seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Nuori holds on and takes a little breather.
Nuori has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Plugger doesn't defend quickly enough and Nuori has managed to lock this one up! Can Plugger escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Nuori on a fantastic submission victory.
