#R1# Montero is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Anderson. Anderson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Montero. Anderson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Montero wants to land a leg kick but Anderson is out of range. Montero closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Anderson leaves Montero with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A low kick from Montero misses and Anderson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.#CL# Anderson closes the distance and pushes Montero back into the cage.#BC2# Montero breaks the clinch.

It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Montero goes for a takedown attempt but Elkemenchi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Montero is looking to land body kicks. Elkemenchi feinted with a counter takedown.#TD# Elkemenchi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Elkemenchi lands in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Montero keeping moving, preventing Elkemenchi from controlling successfully. Montero looking for a sweep. Not yet Montero, not yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Millennium tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Montero with the counter takedown but Millennium avoids it easily. Chris Millennium seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Millennium just misses with a punch to the body.

That was a close round but I would say that Chris Millennium will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Montero moves out of range as Diamond strikes. Montero looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Montero seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Frazier does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
