Fighter throws a combination that misses and Nada cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.#CUT# It looks like Point Fighter has been cut. Fighter throws a body shot but no joy. Nada swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A swing and a miss from Fighter. Nada misses with a straight left. Nada keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fighter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nada's waist but Nada gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fighter off to one side. Nada stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.#TD2# Fighter drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Nada trying to keep a closed guard but Fighter is proving a slippery customer.

Fighter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Player's hands. Player avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Fighter swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Player takes one to the side of the head.
Fighter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fighter walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Fighter just misses with a punch to the body.
That kick from Player tenderised Fighter's leg. Fighter is trying to keep his angry face on. Player connects with a solid leg kick. Fighter moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that DeVanzo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter throwing strikes from guard but Hemmo blocks nicely. Fighter stalks Wonstom and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wonstom's face. Wonstom staggers backwards, shaken. Wonstom scores with a jab. Wonstom tries to bum rush Fighter with a series of wild strikes but Fighter uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wonstom misses with a hook. Fighter ducked under it nicely. Fighter uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wonstom. Fighter is looking to counter punch. Wonstom shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Fighter works Wonstom's body with a nice hook. Fighter connects with a crisp jab. Wonstom throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
