#R1# Gordan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wyatt moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A head kick misses from Wyatt. Wyatt lands with a shot to the body. #KD# Oooooh!!! Wyatt has knocked Gordan down with a huge combo! Wyatt steps away and waves a wobbly Gordan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#CUT# It looks like Marcus Gordan has been cut. Gordan ducks into an uppercut from Wyatt and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Koba Wyatt! After the fight, Koba Wyatt was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Basayev fakes the leg kick and cracks Gordan in the body. Gordan misses with the combination.
Gordan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Basayev circles away quickly and effectively. Gordan looks to land a combination but Basayev avoids it well. Gordan misses with a jab, cross combination.
#CL2# Basayev gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Basayev softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Basayev scores with an uppercut up the middle.#CUT2# It looks like Marcus Gordan has been cut. Gordan looking to stall.
Gordan is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A shot in the inside from Basayev. Basayev lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. #T1# Basayev lands a hook to the side of the head. Gordan can't break the clinch.
Gordan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Gordan is looking to control Basayev's arms but Basayev gets an underhook and turns him. Now Gordan has his back to the cage. Basayev swings wildly with an uppercut but Gordan uses good head movement to avoid it. Basayev lands a shoulder strike. Basayev throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. A right hand to the body from Basayev.
Gordan is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Basayev is keeping busy. Basayev lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Gordan.#T2# Gordan is looking to break free of the clinch but Basayev has double underhooks. Basayev scores with a shot to the side of Gordan's head. Gordan blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Basayev makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Gordan has had enough of the clinch but Basayev keeps him there for the moment. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Basayev lands with a left to the head. Basayev lands a right hand. Basayev working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gordan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Basayev lands a left hand that snaps the head of Gordan backwards. Gordan wants to break the clinch but can't.

Basayev lands on the inside with an uppercut. Gordan wants to stall.
Basayev throws a punch but it's blocked by Gordan. Basayev gets through Gordan's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Gordan is trying to break the clinch but Basayev is controlling him. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Basayev. Nice body punch from Basayev - that landed with a thud.
#BC# Gordan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Basayev lands a nice shot to the body.
#KD2# Basayev drops Gordan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gordan looks back up at him and smiles so Basayev waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Basayev scores with a shot to the body.
Gordan is breathing heavily. A decent looking body kick lands there for Basayev. Basayev scores with a hook to the body. Gordan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Basayev throws a powerful right kick. Gordan tried to block low but the kick was high! Gordan was taken right off of his feet! Basayev jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

#R1# Asashoryu keeps the fight on the outside. Gordan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Asashoryu sprawls well. Asashoryu wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gordan gets slowly back to his feet. Asashoryu displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gordan. Gordan walks forward, straight into a front kick from Asashoryu. Gordan clobbers Asashoryu with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Asashoryu swings for the body but Gordan moves out of range.
Asashoryu looks to land a combination but Gordan avoids it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gordan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Asashoryu swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Gordan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Gordan on the wrong end of a nice jab.#CUT# It looks like Marcus Gordan has been cut. Gordan lands a lovely overhand right. Gordan shoots in for a takedown but Asashoryu shows good takedown defense. Yokozuna Asashoryu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Gordan.#T1# Gordan goes for a double leg but Asashoryu avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Asashoryu continues to drive forward. Gordan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Asashoryu throws a series of punches but Gordan avoids them all with ease. Asashoryu scores with a punch to the head. Yokozuna Asashoryu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gordan fails with the takedown. Yokozuna Asashoryu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gordan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
It looked like Asashoryu wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Asashoryu scores with a decent looking hook. Asashoryu throws a head kick that misses. Asashoryu lands a lovely overhand right. Gordan is looking to clinch but Asashoryu is avoiding it.
Asashoryu went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.#T2##KD# Asashoryu throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Gordan tumbling to the canvas!#ROC# Gordan is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Asashoryu passes easily into side control. Nice work.#SUB# Asashoryu tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Asashoryu controlling from side mount. Asashoryu looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Gordan is avoiding damage well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Asashoryu is trying to get an arm triangle but Gordan is defending well. #T3# Asashoryu advances to mount. #SUB# Asashoryu looking for a guillotine from mount but Gordan is having none of it. Asashoryu can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gordan is looking to escape. #SUB# Asashoryu looking to secure an arm triangle but Gordan defends it well. #SU# Asashoryu is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! #T4# Gordan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Asashoryu pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Gordan is still in real trouble! Can Asashoryu finish him?#CUT# That has opened up Marcus Gordan's cut even more. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#SUB# Asashoryu is working to tighten his grip on Gordan's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Gordan has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Asashoryu is really squeezing tight and eventually Gordan passes out! Asashoryu breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
