We've been hearing good reports from Fredholm's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Blackmon is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Blackmon is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Fredholm couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Blackmon dips a shoulder and cracks Baez with a mighty uppercut! Baez falls back against the cage and Blackmon unloads with a barrage of strikes! Baez is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Blackmon screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kdz Blackmon!
Haven Baez was interviewed post fight and said 'I want a rematch! Because I know that I can beat him! So.. please give me one!'.

Blackmon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Majava paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Majava looks to land a left hand but Blackmon moved out of range nicely.
Majava misses with a jab to the body #TD#
and Blackmon counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Majava is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Majava manages to get to full guard.
Majava pulls Blackmon in close to prevent any damage.

Majava is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Blackmon rolls with it to try and escape but Majava cranks on the arm and Blackmon is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
