#R1# Lodbrok throws a lazy head kick #CL# and Cole counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Cole prevents Lodbrok from breaking the clinch.#BC2# Lodbrok manages to break the clinch.
#TD2# Lodbrok drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Cole working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lodbrok. Lodbrok stands up over Cole, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. #SUB# Lodbrok stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Cole has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Lodbrok manages to get his head free but now Cole has transitioned to an armbar! Lodbrok grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Cole! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

#R1# Ricardio doesn't manage to clinch there - Cole circles away.
Ricardio displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cole throws out the jab. #TD2# Ricardio looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Cole! Cole tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Ricardio looking to control but Cole is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ricardio looking to land elbow strikes but Cole uses the position to regain half guard. Cole knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ricardio on the ground.#T1# Ricardio controlling the pace. Cole regains full guard. Nicely done. Ricardio trying to stand up but can't free himself from Cole's guard. Cole wants to control but Ricardio passes easily into half guard.
Ricardio seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cole does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. #T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Cole wants to improve his position but Ricardio is controlling well.
Cole avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ricardio. Cole is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cole tries to get to full guard but Ricardio has control of the leg. Ricardio tries to stand but his arm is trapped. #SUB2# Ricardio is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ricardio is controlling the pace.
#T3# Ricardio sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Cole defending well though. Cole trying to control but Ricardio postures up.
#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#TD2# Ricardio throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cole tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ricardio is in Cole's guard.#T4# Cole controlling Ricardio's posture. Ricardio trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ricardio passes Cole's left leg - he's now in half guard. Ricardio slips a nice elbow through Cole's hands, connecting with Cole's forehead. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ground and pound from Ricardio. Ricardio looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Apollo Ricardio dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. #R2##TD2# Ricardio closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ricardio is controlling the pace.

Cole doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ricardio. Cole trying to hold on to Ricardio's head to control him but Ricardio postures up.
Ricardio has been the more effective fighter overall so far.#T1# Cole keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ricardio wants to take a breather but Cole is having none of it. Cole wants to improve his position but Ricardio is controlling well.
#SUB2# Ricardio seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Cole is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
