Krinck leaves Govandekal with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Govandekal tries to clinch up. Govandekal shoots for a takedown but Krinck saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Krinck displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Govandekal. Krinck appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Doug Krinck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thorwald Govandekal. Govandekal tries to clinch but Krinck is having none of it. Govandekal doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krinck looks to land a left hand but Govandekal moved out of range nicely. Krinck misses with an uppercut. Krinck uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Govandekal.

#R1##CL# Bang closes the distance and clinches. Bang tries to work over Krinck's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. #BC# Bang manages to break the clinch.
Bang scores with a jab. Krinck takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Bang misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Krinck keeps the fight on the outside. Krinck changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. A shot to the liver by Bang. Beautiful body shot. A punch lands to the side of Bang 's head but he takes it in his stride. Bang throws a right and a left that Krinck avoids nicely. Bang is looking to clinch. And Krinck tries to counter it with a takedown but Bang pushes his down on his head and steps out. Krinck is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
