Oh Cruz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nice takedown defense from Cruz. No joy for Ecklar on that attempt.
Ecklar is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Cruz flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Cruz is out cold! Ecklar holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

McAlister is trying to force a seperation but Cruz has the dominant position.
Cruz is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but McAlister is defending well.
Cruz has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Cruz managing to block the knees to the body from McAlister.

McAlister lands a head kick!

It looks like William Cruz has been cut.
Cruz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McAlister.
McAlister is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
A combination from McAlister does no damage.
Cruz seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Dean McAlister seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McAlister throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.#TD#

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! McAlister throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Cruz is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

and Roy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cruz's guard.
Roy throws a big elbow that misses.
Cruz has momentary wrist control but Roy slips an elbow through the middle.#ROC2#
Cruz is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roy gets to his feet and stands over Cruz, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Cruz felt that one! Roy unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Cruz from any more punishment!
