#R1##CL2# Alvarez clinches up with Dunn and pushes him back against the cage.#BC# Dunn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
#CL2# Alvarez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Alvarez tries to pull guard but Dunn won't allow it.
Alvarez has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dunn after a bit of a struggle. #TD2# Alvarez gets control of Dunn's arms and successfully pulls guard. Alvarez will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Dunn scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Alvarez trying to strike off his back.
Dunn makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dunn keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Alvarez's head. Alvarez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dunn controls the pace.#SUB2# Dunn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alvarez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dunn has managed to get both his arms back between Alvarez's legs - danger averted.#T1# Dunn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Dunn with a flurry of punches that miss. #SUB2# Alvarez looking for subs off his back but Dunn has passed one foot through into half guard.
Alvarez avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dunn. Dunn is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Alvarez gets full guard.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Alvarez holds on and takes a little breather. Dunn is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.#SUB2# Alvarez looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Dunn is defending well. Alvarez quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Dunn has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Alvarez celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
