Smoke looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Smoke fails with a takedown attempt. Chan throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Smoke takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Smoke shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jet Chan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JJ Smoke. Smoke drops his hands momentarily and Chan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. A kick lands to the mid section there for Chan. Chan stuffs the takedown attempt from Smoke. Smoke gets slowly back to his feet. A counter left hand to the body from Chan misses its target. Chan scores with a kick to the midsection. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Chan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jet Chan dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! #R2# Smoke doesn't succeed with the takedown and Chan counters with a good, hard body kick but Smoke shrugs it off. Smoke takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

He's pushed Smoke's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Is there anything that Smoke can do to turn this around? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Smoke takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Smoke tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smoke somewhat.#CL# Chan clinches. JJ Smoke decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
