Knee throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by McPeak.#CUT2# It looks like Tristan McPeak has been cut. McPeak tries a head kick but it misses.
McPeak fails in his attempt to clinch. We've been informed that Knee has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. A nice inside leg kick there by Knee. That's going to slow McPeak down. Knee lands with a thumping leg kick.
McPeak looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Knee is fending him off so far but McPeak persists. Nope, Knee circles away and we're back to standing. McPeak is looking to take this fight into the clinch. McPeak really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. McPeak looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. McPeak is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. McPeak takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Horrible takedown attempt by McPeak or perhaps it was just good defense by Knee, which made it look bad. Knee throws a nice outside leg kick. Knee is looking to slow McPeak down with leg kicks. #T4# We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McPeak closes the distance and clinches up with Knee, looking for a takedown. McPeak pushes Knee against the cage but Knee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tristan McPeak. That's going to take a lot out of him. McPeak takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Pennington could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. McPeak sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Pennington lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. #SUB# Pennington wants to work for an arm triangle but McPeak is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
