Ruttenum changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Canelo tries to avoid it but Ruttenum manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Canelo to the ground. Canelo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
We've been told by Canelo's head coaches at England Fight Club MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Ruttenum is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Canelo is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Canelo flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Ruttenum anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Canelo and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Ruttenum slips an arm under Canelo chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Ruttenum has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Ruttenum is squeezing on Canelo like an anaconda would it's prey. Canelo fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Canelo throws a pinpoint strike between Mcghin's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Mcghin crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Canelo scores a great knockout victory!
